Agrogen AD

249kW
BioG UK
Staffordshire, England

Agrogen is a 249kW on-farm anaerobic digestion (AD) plant, located on a 1,200-acre farm in Staffordshire.

The plant was built and commissioned by BioConstruct in 2016 and is now owned and operated by Rob Greenow and his partner Katie French, arable farmers and founders of AD management business, BioG UK.

The digester itself operates on approximately 65% maize with the remaining feedstock being made up of wholecrop and grass silage, with some cow manure.

As well as providing the funding for Agrogren, Privilege Finance continues to work closely with BioG UK on the financing of five other projects across the UK.
